American Idol Season 8: Double Elimination

After last week’s history in American Idol Season 8, when the judges saved Matt G from being eliminated, harsh reality was faced last night by two idols for the double elimination.

Li’l Rounds was finally eliminated. After every week of mediocre and almost copy cat performance, America finally decided that it’s time for her to step aside and give the stage to the more talented and artistic contestants.


Anoop was the other half to get cut of the contest. Although he has a nice voice he barely makes it every week. For the last 4 weeks he was in the bottom three making the elimination not a surprise to him.

Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud


According to the judges comments on this weeks performance this is the batch that has the most talent. I must agree. I can wait for the finals to come. Who’s your bet?

    pero originally i like danny but so monotonous ang performance nya.... i think he needs to reinvent his performance like adam's performance everyweek iba iba

  5. Im not a Gokey fan but since he has lots of supporters (Paula is one of them, LOL), he's already in Top3. Last performance was a mess. tried so hard to play / change the song, it ended up a disaster.
